Robert Dubose has more than 20 years of experience and handles a broad range of appeals with an emphasis on commercial and contract disputes, insurance coverage, and corporate governance. He also works with trial lawyers on legal strategy before and during trial, frequently arguing the jury charge and preserving arguments for appeal. He has also authored or edited several books including, Texas Practitioner’s Guide to Civil Appeals and Legal Writing for the Rewired Brain: Persuading Readers in a Paperless World as well as serving as a past-chair of the Appellate Section of the Houston Bar Association. Mr. Dubose will be giving a presentation on legal writing and how it has changed as the legal system goes more and more paperless.
