Before that, he served in the Texas House of Representatives from 1979 to 1987, was chairman of the Committe on Energy, a member of the Transportation Committee, and represented Texas on many national committees for energy and transportation.
Judge Emmett is also director of Harris County’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, chairman of the Harris County Juvenile Board, and chairman of the Conference of Urban Counties Policy Committee.

We will have our Board Member Election to fill the available positions for the 2017-18 term.
The nominees are:
Vice President: Allison Mundy
Secretary: Teresa Messer
Treasurer: Paul Freeman
Ballots will be collected at this meeting on June 21st.
Electronic voting will also be available from June 21st through June 30th at https://hnba.org/2017-2018-board-member-election/.
Campioni Restaurant is located at 13850 Cutten Rd, Houston, TX 77069.
Thank you Judge Emmett for your presentation. Would be nice if State and Federal would stop heaping unnecessary mandates upon counties; and counties would stick to their basic functions instead of managing sports complexes, providing health services, etc.
